Woodsman
Of all my faults, I think it's the inability to be decisive that's the worst. Or maybe not. I don't know.
I don’t hate humanity. I think humanity is amazing. But it’s like the ocean. You can enjoy its beauty and marvel at the wonders that flourish within its depths, but never forget that its power wears down countries, separates nations, takes lives with reckless abandon, and is beholden to no one. Water, like the spirits of people, can nourish us or drown us, can let us sail or drag us to die beneath the pressure and the waves.
Me, on why stories like the tale of Syliva Likens or Marina Abramovic’s Rhythm 0, 1974 don’t rob me of my faith in humanity.
